Richmond Bridge, Tasmania- Australia

The oldest bridge still used in Australia is in Richmond, Tasmania. This tiny tourist town still has many sandstone structures standing including a jail, various churches and it’s heritage listed arch bridge. The bridge was built in 1823 and completed using convict labour by 1825. The bridge is close to the main town and has a pleasant park area below it on the banks of the Coal river.
